The campaign's latest ad highlights his history of combatting Trump’s abuses of power in defense of Californians

SAN FRANCISCO – Today, Tom Steyer’s gubernatorial campaign released its ad, "Courage," in both English and Spanish. The ad highlights his history of challenging Trump, proving he is the right candidate to push back against Trump and his use of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to terrorize Latino and immigrant communities.

Since 2017, Steyer has stood up to Trump and his policies, launching a campaign to impeach Donald Trump — a movement that drew support from 8 million Americans. He has also gone on record calling for ICE to be abolished and comparing the violent actions of its agents to those of a criminal organization. If elected Governor, he has promised that California will continue to lead the resistance to Trump.
