Steyer Announces Support from Assemblymember Rick Chavez Zbur

SAN FRANCISCO — Democratic gubernatorial candidate Tom Steyer today announced that his campaign picked up support from Assemblymember and Chair of the Assembly Democratic Caucus Rick Chavez Zbur. 

“Tom Steyer will be a governor who doesn't just talk about change — he will deliver real, meaningful results on our shared values,” Zbur said. “He's committed to uplifting the needs of working people, urgent climate action, advancing civil rights and social justice, and fiercely protecting good paying jobs that power Southern California's economy — especially in our vibrant film, television, and creative industries that make our region thrive.”

Zbur represents West Hollywood, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, and parts of Los Angeles in the California State Assembly. Zbur joins Congressman Ro Khanna and State Senator Henry Stern in supporting Steyer for Governor, along with the California State Employees Association and California Nurses Association.
