Consumer Federation of California Endorses Tom Steyer for Governor

SAN FRANCISCO – The Consumer Federation of California (CFC) announced its endorsement of Tom Steyer for California governor. Steyer, a longtime advocate for California consumers and their rights, has championed policies aimed at protecting working families, increasing corporate accountability, and strengthening consumer protections statewide. CFC is a nonprofit advocacy organization that has served as a leading voice for consumer rights for more than 65 years.

Steyer made it clear to CFC that protecting California consumers would be a top priority for him and his administration and detailed numerous proposals to enhance consumer affordability. Tom Steyer would make an excellent governor of California and CFC is pleased to support him."
